Qualified 3rd fastest battled it out with
the local hot shoe in the trophy dash and he got me at
the end, so we placed 2nd. Heat race out side pole 2nd
lap in blew a right front tire in turn 1 and went
sailing off the track. Main had to start dead last and
as we were getting lined up my steering box went out,
most likely from the tire that blew when i hit a big rut
so we DNS. |

Sunset Speedway |
We raced on a DRY SLICK crappy track Qualified 2nd
fastest, Finished 3rd in the heat race after some
contact with another car in the 1st lap they inverted
the field and we started 6th and finished 6th. It was a
follow the leader type of track. Mike Romig #22 my buddy
ended up gettin hauled off in the ambulance after a
nasty flip that landed him on his cage upside down on a
concrete barrier and destroyed his car |

Qualified 3rd fastest
Had problems with the fuel system and did not start in
the Heat,
Fixed it and ran the Trophy Dash and finished 2nd,
Started outside pole could not get it hooked up on the
start and fell into 2nd ran 2nd till we came up on a
slower car and I thought the slower car would wash up
but did'nt and I got stuck behind him and was passed on
the outside and ended up finishing 3rd for the night.
Really a dry slick track "AGAIN". |

June 16th |
Cottage Grove |
we raced the wing for the second time
ever.. Qualified 16th out of 18 cars (terrible) but
finished 4th in my heat race and started mid pack in the
main and finished a strong 4th. Had some good guys from
other teams helping us out after I struggled in
qualifying. |

July 4th |
Willamette Speedway |
Raced at the all new Willamette Speedway
over the 4th with the Wing for the 2nd time ever.
Qualified terrible "again".
Ran my heat race and started at the back of 11 cars and
had to finish 4th to be in the A main. Finished 5th, so
that means I had one more chance to get to the A main by
running the B main. Had to finish in the top 4 to
transfer.. Ended up finishing 3rd Running the top groove
but "tea kettled" the motor 260 deg. but made the A
main. Started 20th in the A main passed 6-7 cars in 2
laps came into turn 1 and the motor let go!!! Pushed out
3-4 rods and a huge ball of flames.. Other than that, it
was a awesome race night, had a great crew, and a sweet
track to run on!

August 25th |
Banks Raceway |
Took the car out to
try out the new motor at Banks Raceway Sat 25th, Took
the Green for the first lap in qualifying as soon as I
laid on the throttle to go into turn 1, I heard a snap
and the car went straight towards the wall..... Luckily
NO contact. Ended up breaking the pitman arm. Crew had
it replaced within 10min. but I missed our qualifying
run.
Started on pole for
our heat race and had the car way to tight and finished
3rd.
Started 12th in the
main (due to not qualifying) Was making ground to the
front and a car in front of us got sideways and we had
contact and set me back a ittle but ended up finishing
6th.
Overall not a bad
night and the motor has plenty of power!!!
